I received a text message / SMS inviting me to participate in a poll run by CMS Survey Research, what is this?

CMS uses a range of methods to ensure our survey respondents are representative of the entire population. We select potential respondents from publicly available lists and client provided data and may invite you to participate via text message.

Who is the survey on behalf of?

CMS carries out surveys on behalf of a range of organisations and individuals as well as carrying out surveys for internal purposes. In order to ensure that a survey isn't biased we do not reveal the ultimate end clienr of a particular survey.

Where did you get my number?

Your number will have either been provided by the end user of the survey or from one of our data providers such as Sensis.

I don't want to receive future messages from you, what do I do?

Simply text back "Stop" to the number you received the survey invite from.

Do I get charged by you to take part?

No, you'll be charged no more than your standard provider / network rate for each message you send back to us.
